AVERT are a UK based HIV and AIDS charity that operates internationally. Their site contains videos and plenty of photos, and well as a section detailing the history of HIV.
The Body is an American website that brings together HIV articles and newsletters from publications around the world. There is also a ‘recently diagnosed’ section and a forum where doctors answer questions about HIV.
Health Talk Online used to be known as DIPEx, and is a general health and illness website. The HIV section contains a video gallery of people affected by HIV talking about their experiences.
HIVInsite is a project run by the University of California. It aims to collect HIV information, knowledge, research and reports from around the globe. A lot of the content in HIVInsite is written from academic policy and scientific viewpoints, although there are resources for people affected by HIV.

Is a UK wide organisation that lobbies for the rights of women living with HIV
T-Cell Chronicles is a collection of articles and essays written by people around the world who have been affected by HIV. The main aim of the site is to fight the stigma and social isolation that goes hand in hand with HIV/AIDS.
The THT website is run by the UK based charity, and contains information and resources about HIV. There is also an online counselling service and digital versions of all their publications.
The UNAIDS website is run by the UN, and provides a global perspective on the spread of HIV. There is information on UN programs and policy, as well as a knowledge centre containing scientific data.
Vive la Differénce is a site for gay or bisexual men who are in a relationship where one partner has HIV and the other hasn’t. It contains advice on sex, relationships and overcoming difficulties with people outside the relationship.
