The HIV Support Centre is pleased to support Sexual Health Week in partnership with Northern Regional College, the Nortehrn Health and Social Care Trust (NHSCT) and the Public Health Agency (PHA) in the run-up to Valentine’s Week. The HIV Support Centre will provide sexually transmitted infections (STI) and HIV awareness stands at all of the Northern Regional College campuses. The dates are as follows:

Monday, January 30th, 2012Bill Gates has donated $750 million from his charitable foundation to the Global Fund which fights AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. Health Minister supports Getting to Zero Discrimination for those living with HIV

Northern Ireland Health Minister Edwin Poots and Stormont Health Committee are Getting to Zero for World AIDS Day 2011 by supporting The HIV Support Centre.
Today on World AIDS Day, The HIV Support Centre, supported by Health Minister, Edwin Poots MLA and members of the Northern Ireland Assembly’s Health Committee, called for Zero Discrimination against people living with HIV in Northern Ireland.
Belfast HSC Trust getting to zero

On World AIDS Day 2011, Belfast HSC Trust will be running eight HIV awareness stands across the city. With education being key to ‘Getting to Zero New Infections’, it is great to see this happening on 1 December. The stands are being organised by the Trust’s Sexual Health Team’s HIV awareness trainers.
Keep a look out for the stands across the city and lift a red ribbon and other information about our services.
Young people get a taste of healthier living in Armagh

On Tuesday 29 November 2011, young people from across the Southern HSC Trust area will be attending a Health Fair to learn about positive health, wellbeing and lifestyle choices. They will also be able to sample healthy and tasty smoothies prepared by participants of the Give and Take scheme and any donations made will be given to Children in Need.
