The drop in on Monday evenings has finished for the summer.

Drop in will resume on a new evening beginning on Thursday 5 August 2010, running from 5.30 to 9.30 p.m.

Thursday evening is late night shopping in Belfast city centre - so if you’re in town - feel free to drop in.

European Man-for-Man Internet Sex Survey 2010

The healthcare sector undertakes all kinds of surveys to canvass public opinion and inform policies. We feel that it’s vital that you, the people who use the services, have your say in shaping them in the future.

European Man-for-Man Internet Sex Survey 2010

Sigma Research has just launched EMIS - the European gay and bisexual men’s sex survey which incorporates the UKs Gay Men’s Sex Survey also known as Vital Statistics. The survey will be available to complete in 25 languages, until 31st August 2010.

The overall funding for EMIS comes from the European Commission. With a target sample of at least 60,000 gay men and bisexual men EMIS will be the largest survey of this population ever undertaken anywhere in the world. Researchers and gay and HIV organisations from 31 European countries are working together to ensure EMIS is a success. (more…)

Disability Exhibition, 4-5 June 2010, Lisburn

Disability Exhibition 2010 is a bi-annual exhibition for people with disabilities, families, carers and healthcare professtionals.

This year’s exhibition is being organised in conjuntion with Ability NI, Northern Ireland’s first disability magazine. The event will take place on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th June 2010 at Lagan Valley Leisureplex in Lisburn.

The exhibition is the largest disability exhibition in Northern and showcases a wide range of products and services for people with disabilities. (more…)

The regional HIV Social Work team on behalf of the RVH 2Kare Trust invites everyone to buy a ticket for a concert

Celtic Nights… …African Sunrise

in the City Hall, Belfast on Saturday 17 April 2010 at 7.30 p.m.

The concert, preceded by a drinks reception from 7.0o p.m., will be in the fabulous surroudings of the Great Hall and will be an eclectic selection of music and reflect the diversity of the Celtic and African cultures.

All proceeds will be donated to HIV charities in Northern Ireland and the Leratong Hospice in South Africa.

World Aids Day - Armagh

The HIV Support Centre celebrates World AIDS Day on Tuesday 1st December 2009 at the Council Offices, Palace Demesne, Armagh.

Supported by Armagh City and District Council and the Southern Education and Library Board, a group of 14-16 year olds from the Spring Youth Project will present their learning and understanding of HIV having attended training provided by The HIV Support Centre. (more…)

World Aids Day - Derry

The HIV Support Centre celebrates World AIDS Day on Tuesday 1st December 2009 at The City Hotel, Derry.

In conjunction with Derry City Council and The Rainbow Project (Derry), the HIV Support Centre is running an event in the City Hotel, with attendees from different sectors of Northern Ireland life, including sports, churches, health, education, and local government to raise their awareness of HIV and the impact it has on their services.
